About us

We began our full yoga teacher training in January 2020, for those curious about beginning to teach yoga, with an up to date understanding of movement.

From the roots of yoga we bring you a modern approach to movement where we look at science, not the lineage, and break free from outdated dogma that’s not designed for the modern human. This is about upholding the evolution of the yoga practice.

Emma and Hannah originally met on their 500 hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2011. After completing the course with the Victor Foundation, they both taught from their separate corners of Kent, regularly meeting up to share their love of yoga and food. Their naturally inquisitive nature and thirst for knowledge meant that they continued learning from sources outside of the yoga community as they realised there were gaps that needed filling. Basic anatomy in movement wasn’t taught in Yoga Teacher trainings and the teachings were dominated by arbitrary alignment rules. Their search for more information often bought them to the same trainings, like Yoga Detour and Functional Range Systems. Two years ago they decided to do something about it and Yoga Reloaded was born. A platform in which to bring relevant knowledge to yoga teachers. They developed the immersion programme and soon realised they would have to redefine the 200 hour teacher training model. They are excited to bring you a constantly evolving learning resource, and continue to deliver trainings and education to the innovative and brave yoga teachers who dare to ask the questions! They will always look for answers, and best places to eat.

Emma Epton

I am a senior Yoga Alliance yoga teacher with over 20 years experience. I teach Yin yoga and functional yoga.

I began my love of yoga whilst visiting my sister in LA in 1997 where I attended my first ever yoga classes. After practicing for many years I decided that I would love to teach, I had been enjoying a fitness lifestyle for many years and I knew that yoga was my calling. It was a complete revelation in my life and continues to push me towards greater understanding of how we function both physiologically and physically through strength, yoga and play.

I am to keep my teaching fresh and innovative in the name of science, anatomy, biomechanics and all that is yoga!

I have completed trainings with Cecily Milne of Yoga Detour, Paul Grilley, Tom Myers, Gill Hegley and Bernie Clark. I am also an FRC® mobility specialist and Kinstretch instructor. I’m also a Movement Mapping teacher.

I have been practicing yoga for over 13 years, teaching for 8, and am excited to be part of and witness the evolution of the way yoga is being taught.

I originally trained as a yoga teacher in 2008 but didn't teach until after I retrained as a yoga and then prenatal teacher with The Victor Foundation in 2012. I regularly teach classes, workshops and retreats.

Developments in Science and biomechanics has given us more understanding of what better serves the modern human. I'm constantly learning and study with some of the most open minded teachers in the world such as Justin Wolfer, Cecily Milne and Jenni Rawlings. I am fascinated with with many movement and brain based practices and the function of the nervous system. It's taken me a while to be comfortable calling what I teach yoga as it doesn't always fit the yoga box! I incorporate principles of strength training within yoga and deep parasympathetic stimulation, but the focus is always on what best serves the individual and supports whatever they do in life, rather than the pose as the goal. I am a registered Yoga Detour instructor as well as an FRC® mobility specialist and a Movement Mapping teacher.
